Welcome to the Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa website! We hope this space provides you with everything you need to learn about our organization. If this is your first time exploring Goodwill, you may find there is more to our organization than you thought. If you think of our retail stores when you think of Goodwill, that’s great. Our retail stores are a very important part of who we are. But Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa is much more than the 15 retail stores situated around the center of the state. In fact, those stores are just the beginning of our story, because the income they generate is used to support our training, education, and employment programs in Central Iowa. Programs that put people back to work and give them greater independence. Programs that teach everything from banking and janitorial skills, to manufacturing and food service skills. Programs that help people get off the streets and into homes, or off of public assistance and into jobs.

We hope this site gives you a glimpse of how Goodwill helps all kinds of people in all sorts of ways. We think that after you learn more about what we do, you may just decide to get involved in our mission too. This is your invitation.
