Paula Aldridge, Nori Hargens and Bob White: January Achievers of the Month

Each month mission services team members at Goodwill of Central Iowa nominate program participants for the Goodwill Recognition Awards. The winner is an individual who exemplifies our mission, values and vision by making progress toward his or her goals, having excellent attendance, being a good role model and having a positive attitude.

Please join us in congratulating Paula Aldridge, Nori Hargens and Bob White, our January Achievers of the Month!

The award this month goes to someone who has put in the hours to learn and polish new skills. They have learned how to take donations, sort, hang and tag clothes, run a cash register and take care of the sales floor to keep it neat, organized and shoppable. They have shown great customer service and a desire to succeed. You could say our recipient this month has done the work of three people…

Paula Aldridge, Nori Hargens and Bob White are the three members of the most recent retail skills training class. Each of them has successfully completed the 15-module Rise Up program and passed the 100 question exam to earn their Rise Up certificate. They have also each completed 125 hours of hands-on training in the Johnston Goodwill store.” – Rodney Tomlinson, Retail Skills Trainer
