Valentine’s Day Two Ways

Whether you’ve got plans for a romantic date, a Galentine’s happy hour or a night in alone, it’s not too late to swing by the Goodwill store nearest you and do some last minute Valentine’s Day shopping. There’s no better time to treat yourself!

A Night On the Town

A pink dress is perfect if you’re going out on Valentine’s Day. This dress is originally from Ann Taylor Loft, and it actually still had the price tag on it! It was originally $69.50, but this brand-new dress would only cost you $6.29 at Goodwill – more than 90% off the original retail price! You don’t need any more reasons to skip other stores and shop secondhand for a new outfit.

Since it’s February and it’s Iowa, grab a jacket or a cardigan. The black Express cardigan paired above is just $3.89. And since your total is now just $10.80, you might as well get a new bag too. This gold satin crossbody clutch is priced at $6.49. This whole outfit adds up to less than $20!

Plans For No Plans at All

If you’re going to stay in and celebrate the greatest love of your life (yourself), you’d better get comfy.

This super soft pink sweater is insanely cozy and just worn-in enough to be even comfier than a brand-new sweater from a traditional retail store. And at just $3.89, you might just want to grab a couple. Goodwill is stocked with athleisure and lounge-wear: hoodies, leggings, pj pants, robes, yoga pants, joggers. These gray sweatpants are $4.29. And finally, fuzzy footwear – to keep your feet from freezing! We found a pair of sherpa-lined Madden Girl boot slippers for $6.99.

Just a few final touches for that perfect night in. There’s nothing more frustrating than when you can’t find your favorite films on Netflix, but Goodwill’s got your back with a great inventory of DVDs in every store.

For the low price of $2.39, you can not only have a hard copy of your favorite movie but the peace of mind that comes with always having it on hand. Grab a soft toy to snuggle ($2.99) and a mug for your tea (or for your wine, no judgment here). We love this “I don’t want to adult today” mug, and it still had the original retail
store tag on it!
Mugs are priced from $.99.

If you’d rather have screen-less self-care, pick up a book! Paperbacks start at just $0.89 in our stores.

Not to get too sappy, but we really love our customers. We think we’ve got a good thing going here.
