Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a condition that can affect a person’s ability to communicate, behave, and interact with others. It is characterized by difficulties in social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication.

Autism affects people in different ways. It is a spectrum disorder, which means that each person with autism has their own unique set of strengths and barriers. Some people with autism are highly skilled in learning, thinking, and problem-solving, while others may face significant challenges in these areas. Depending on their individual needs, some people with autism may require more support and assistance in their daily lives than others. Some individuals with autism may be able to live independently.
