Costumes for Kids With LAZER 103.3

Goodwill of Central Iowa is constantly striving to serve our local Central Iowa community in many ways. Our mission of Making Purposeful Employment Possible for All extends far beyond helping individuals find meaningful careers, which is why we’re searching for local community partnerships that allow us to make true impact! For this purpose, Goodwill of Central Iowa is proud to partner with LAZER 103.3 again this year to bring you Costumes For Kids. This event helps deliver Halloween joy to hundreds of Iowa households by ensuring that children in Iowa have a Halloween costume.

Last year, our collective efforts allowed us to raise $3200 to purchase costumes that helped spread joy, smiles & Halloween spirit, and we intend to do it all again this year— with your support!

Want to participate in our costume drive and fundraiser? Here are three ways that you can help out!

• Drop off new or gently used kids’ costumes of any size for ages 2 to 12 at the LAZER 103.3 Headquarters located at 1416 Locust Street in Des Moines.
• Round up your purchase at Goodwill of Central Iowa during one of our Round Up Weekends, October 2nd-4th and October 9th-11th
• Make a cash donation at any one of these select Metro locations: Ankeny 1, Ankeny 2, East, Johnston, Jordan Creek, Urbandale, Waukee, Valley West, Norwalk. For a full list of our store locations, hours and addresses, visit our locations page on our website that can be found here.

To ensure that no child goes without a costume this Halloween, all costumes and funds donated will go to Children & Families of Iowa, which is a local non-profit organization that distributes the costumes to kids who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford one.
