Each month staff members at Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa nominate clients for the Achiever of the Month Award. The winner is an individual who exemplifies our mission, values and vision by making progress toward his or her goals, having excellent attendance, being a good role model and having a positive attitude.

Cynthia was completing her 30 day assessment during the month of March. She did an amazing job of working in multiple areas without showing any signs of difficulties. When inspecting clothing, Cynthia brought her own supplies to make the job easier. When working in the piece rate area, Cynthia writes down exactly how many pieces she assembles in order to figure out her monthly budgets. Cynthia was referred to the Supported Employment Program at her 30 day meeting because of the tremendous work she did during her assessment.”
