2015 Ankeny SEARCH interns

Eight Goodwill clients have been accepted this spring in the Project SEARCH work immersion program with Hy-Vee stores in the Des Moines metro.

Project SEARCH provides quality, unpaid internship experiences in preparation for competitive employment. The internships are for nine months in Hy-Vee stores. In the past, participating Hy-Vee stores have hired many of their Project SEARCH interns when they completed the program.

The stores participating this spring are the East Euclid Avenue Hy-Vee and the North Ankeny Boulevard Hy-Vee.

Participants pick up skills including career planning, developing self-determination and self-advocacy, communicating effectively and working responsibly.

Congratulations, Project SEARCH interns, on your acceptance in the program! We’re eager to follow your progress.
