Goodwill of Central Iowa will have a truck parked at the Altoona Hy-Vee, 108 Eighth St., S.W., to collect your donations this weekend! Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 23, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 24. Bring your gently used clothing, toys, household items, décor and small working electronics by. Volunteers from Altoona United Methodist Church will accept your donations at the truck.
We are planning several more donation drop-off locations this summer and fall, in Perry, State Center and Sigourney. Check back here for more details.
Donations will go to our 19 stores in central Iowa. The proceeds from our stores fund our education and job skills training programs.
