
JOB READY PATHWAYS SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM
Program Overview
The Job Ready Pathways Skills Training Program is a seven-week program that focuses on soft skill development crucial to successful employment.
- This program follows a curriculum featuring a three-part learning series comprised of Job Readiness, Job Seeking, and Job Keeping.
- Development of soft skills will be the primary focus of our Job Ready Pathways Skills Training Program. This includes learning things such as professional communication, time management, teamwork, self-advocacy, and critical thinking.
- Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive The Conover Credential highlighting the skills they have developed, along with a Certificate of Completion from Goodwill of Central Iowa.

Qualifications to participate
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must receive funding for this program from Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services (IVRS)
- Must reside within our 22 county service area and be able to secure reliable transportation to our Johnston, Iowa Headquarters training location.
- Desire to develop skills for competitive employment.
- Able to self-administer all medications.
- Independent in self-care needs.
- Not harmful to self or others.
Developing soft skills
