At Goodwill, we are dedicated to redefining inclusion in the workplace. By offering programs designed to inspire confidence, strengthen abilities, and support the journey toward greater independence, we are changing the lives of central Iowans each and every day.
Our Impact: Overcoming Barriers, Building Confidence & Changing Lives
Our programs are designed to meet individuals at any point in their employment journey, developing the necessary skills to flourish in the workplace. We partner with individuals and their care teams to develop strong work habits, build their community and encourage their success.
In 2022, we provided over 1,400 individuals with employment services or trainings.
Individuals served have an average of five barriers to employment, including lack of transportation, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, mental illness and/or low-income status.
In 2022, we provided on-site coaching at more than 70 central Iowa business locations.
