Goodwill of Central Iowa Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for New Ankeny Retail Store and Donation Center

Ankeny, IA — Goodwill of Central Iowa celebrated the opening of its new Ankeny retail store with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, January 27. The event took place at the new Ankeny location at 1205 SE 16th CT, Suite 200, Ankeny, IA 50021.

Community members, local leaders, board members, and partners were invited to attend and help mark the opening of the new store, which expanded Goodwill of Central Iowa’s retail presence in Ankeny and supported its mission of Making Purposeful Employment Possible For All. Revenue from Goodwill retail stores directly fund job training, employment services, and support programs that help individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve greater independence.
