Tuesday is #GivingTuesday! On Dec. 1 — #GivingTuesday — anyone, anywhere can get involved and give back in a way that is meaningful. From fundraising to volunteering to pro bono service, #GivingTuesday is a great way to engage your community and to become a part of a larger worldwide movement that promotes generosity.
Here at Goodwill, we work hard daily to fulfill our mission: To improve the quality of life for all individuals by providing skills training and helping people find jobs. In 2015, we helped more than 850 clients find jobs in the Greater Des Moines area. With your help, we can reach even more central Iowans and help them improve their lives in 2016.
