Goodwill of Central Iowa Announces A Second Ankeny Retail Store and Donation Center Opening Soon
Ankeny, Iowa — Goodwill of Central Iowa is excited to announce the opening of a new Goodwill Retail Store and Donation Center at 1205 SE 16th Ct Ste 200, Ankeny, IA 50021. This new store is part of Goodwill’s ongoing commitment to provide residents with convenient donation and shopping options, promoting sustainability, and providing employment training.
Deepening Our Commitment To The Ankeny Community
This new store, which will be our largest-to-date, represents an expansion of our mission and investment in the Ankeny community and surrounding areas. Donors will enjoy a convenient location and simple process for giving their gently used clothing, electronics, and household items a new life. Shoppers will find even more hidden treasures at fair prices. By donating and shopping at Goodwill, community members can contribute to the broader mission of job training, education, and placement services for individuals with barriers to employment around central Iowa.

Projected Opening, Accepted Donations, And Employment Opportunities
This new location is projected to open in the fourth quarter of 2025. The same types of donations as a typical Goodwill store will be accepted, including gently used clothing, electronics, household items, and more.
